Am using a Denon 3805 along with Canton CD100 fronts, CD50 centre, AS100 Sub and CD 10 rears. Now the front sound stage is fantastic, however, i can't hear much from the rear speakers.

I've done the Auto Setup and that went through like a breeze. Am i doing something wrong? All speakers are set to small (except Sub).

Is there any settings i can play with to help with the rear speakers on the 3805?

    Cheers

just hit the channel select button repeatedly on the remote until the display shows which speakers channel level you want to raise......altho bear in mind, unless you are using 5/7 channel stereo mode or a DD/DTS film with lots of rear channel information, there isnt a lot that comes out of the rear speakers, say with a normal TV show.......

Thanks mate...i will give it a shot tonight! Am running pure 5.1.

Looking at the reviews of movies like 2 fast 2 furious, it supposedly does have good rear effects and watching it yesterday there didn't seem to be much information. I will try increasing the volume on the rears using "channel select" as you say.

    Cheers

Just a thought, have you connected you "rear" speakers to the rear speaker terminals when you really want them to be surounds? If you are using pure 5.1 then there would be no rear signal. Don't know if the amp will auto switch the suround channels to the rear if it knows there are no surounds.
