What is the relationship between SW levels as set in calibration (- 3db in my case) and the LFE deafult level of 0db in DD/DTS modes? Is there any rationale in this level or should it be changed to reflect the SW level I have calibrated to?

Leave the LFE settings on their defaults. This is the LFE content so shouldn't be touched. The SW channel is the overall volume for your sub output.

Except, apparently, with DTS music as the source. The manual suggests a setting of -10db for the LFE. Cheers all the same.

Yeah, forgot about DTS CD's. :suicide: They're usually mastered 10db hot.

Geez, it was no wonder the whole house shook with a DTS rendering of PInk Floyd's The Wall". IT sounded like a jet aircraft was about to land.
