Having just recieved my new silver 3803 and 2900 I am a little confused about the delay settings. both the dvd and the 3803 have inputs for distance from listener, do i adjust both so they are the same or is this incorrect. The reason i ask is i wonder if the dvd will send the delay to the 3803 and the 3803 will add a further delay.

Am I making any sense LOL!!!!!!

The 3803 delays are for using it's decoding for Dolby/DTS etc and you would feed it a digital signal (either Optical or Coaxial Digital) from the 2900.

The 2900 delays are for it's 5.1 analogue outputs and it's onboard decoding for Dolby/DVD Audio etc etc. The delay times will not affect the digital outputs.

You won't get a multiple delay affect from one to the other.
