I have connected my Denon 3802 to my Panny 5 Plasma via componant and I can not get the Denons On Screen Menu to display. There is only a DVD connected to the Amp via componant and then componant out to the Plasma.

Has anyone else had this problem or knows why the Denons OSD will not show up via a componant connection?

    Thanks

I may be wrong here, but, i think the 3802 only shows it's OSD via composite or S-Video.

I think you might be right, I hooked up an s-video lead and Voila! very annoying though.

    Anyone else have any thoughts?

As Kev (mozzer) has said, the OSD is not output from the Component Video Outputs, only from the S-Video & Composite outs.

I just use a spare phono cable if I need to go into the OSD. ;)
