When listening to a DVDA (or SACD) all of the processing is done within the player and the results are output to the amp via the 6 channel analogue phono outputs. Any bass management facilities have to be set within the DVD player but they tend to be rudimentary at best

Have checked all the settings on my dv89 everything is set up for the sub, but cant get any sound out from the test tone page, yet when using 6 channel audio sub works fine, perhaps there is a problem with my dv89
