Hi all can you help me with this one as im a bit stumped.

Ok ive just got this new PJ whoo hoo! A Sanyo PLV-Z1 ok,

I was playing a DVD last night with a plain old composite cable from the back of the DVD player to the PJ and obviously the sound routed to my Denon 3801 reciever.

Then i wanted to change running the composite cable from the DVD player and run it from the moniter out on my 3801 so that i could video switch from sky vcr dvd using the amp but i got no signal to the PJ.

Can anyone shed a bit of light? Do i need to do something in the 3801s menu?

Cheers for any help,
Regards,
John.

Have you got the Video Source set to the correct input? Bear in mind if you are feeding it a composite signal it will only output a composite signal, the amp won´t up-convert to S-Video etc.

Jase i have just got to the bottom of it! Me being stupid as ever.

You were right i didn't have the video source correct DOH!
Thanks mate.
John.

:) I would have thought you´d be better off using an S-Video signal (from the dvd player at least) to the PJ. Composite is the naffest quality. Or are you just testing things out?:)

Only just got it Jase and using supplied cables.
Going shopping after easter for required stuff:D
