    Hi all Sony owners.

I have been musing which of the following

    40V4000
    40W4000
    40W4500

to get for a while now.

When the prices went up this made it even harder as it realistically pushed the 4500 out of reach.

At the weekend I managed to get the 37V4000 from tesco for £600.

Initially I thought I had got the W as the price was listed a reduced to clear from £800. Now I see that this is the going rate for the V.

Given that I am swapping to one of these from my Phillips 32pf9830 I dont want to swap for this LCD just cause of the great price if it I recommended to hold firm for one of the others.

    Any thoughts?

    cheers Andy

well the 40W4500 is the best, but it depends on the price you can find it in stock. An other option is to wait 2-3 weeks for the new line up and get one of the new models

Decided to take the 37V4000 back. If I'm goign to update, may as well go for either the 40W4000 or the 40W4500 (though this may stretch my bank balance!).

Is there really a new line up in a few weeks? If so then might this lower the prices of the 'current' ranges'?
