I am looking for true HD (1080p) - 37inch Plasma.. Any recommendation?
I wish there is 37-pz70b
As far as I am aware you can't get a 1080p 37" Plasma. You can get a 1080p 37" LCD though, I know Panasonic do one.
Question - is it worth getting 1080p on a 37"screen? I have a 42' screen and asked the same question - for me I decided it was beacause i wouldnt be happy unless it was 1080p.... you know how it is!!?
Why not? It would be better quality?
With it being only 37" You simply would not notice the difference.
Some say you dont notice "much" on a 42",So on a 37"..........
I have defected to the world of Plasma from LCD, and got a Panny PZ70 yesterday. I watched Pirates...3 yesterday on DVD (upacaled to 1080i) and yes, I did definatly notice a considerable difference in PQ. However, whether this was just the Panny's general quality compared to LCD or the extra pixels, I'm not sure. I am having an HD DVD & PS3 delivered in the week so will do a side-by-side with an HD Ready and let you know if, IMHO , it's worth it...
Already did a side by side Using blue ray and SD.PX70 and a PZ 70.
PZ shaded the PQ on HD( only just mind you)
PX i prefered in SD
My 40" sony Bravia 1080 LCD was the worst by far in SD
But IN HD the same as the PZ which is excellent
Would love to do that test. What did the PX70 have to edge it on the PZ70 in SD?
In term of picture quality and motion, which is better PZ70 or PX70?
Try setting your DVD player to 576i/p and see how the picture quality is then.
I thought The picture on the PX in SD was a lot softer and looked more natural.
In HD the 42"PZ edges it for me.
In SD the 42"PX edged it.
But i believe if you moved upto 50" The difference is a LOT more noticable !The PZ comes into its own and flexes its muscles lol
