    What's your budget?

Personally if I wanted 37" I would buy a plasma, not an LCD. This one

But the Panny has no hi-def input? i.e. DVI-HDCP or HDMI?

If you want a 37" LCD TV now, the Toshiba looks good with bright pictures. I believe a 37" Toshiba with freeview is out shortly. For extra high resolutions check out the new Philips and JVC models. Sharp is possible but pricy- they do get good reviews.

Personally I am weary of plasmas as expensive to fix if they go wrong and reflected in extended warrenies offered. Some companies seem to be quietly removing plasmas from their ranges as LCD panels get bigger. LCDs are not perfect as you will see elsewhere in this forum
