Have had this TV for 6 months and I'm impressed with it for the money. Have tried to connect it to my stereo without success. The manual says that one of the scarts can output + there's sockets used for input that can output sound - I can't get it to work, has anyone had success?

The missus is sick of all the wires I have for each device going to a sound switch, which is a bit crap !!

Pls help

Why don't you just use the right and left RCA output jacks? and hook it to your stereo's input - then all sound from all outputs will also be sent to the stereo as well as the two front speakers?

Thanks Mufan, I have tried this with no success. Is there anything I need to set with the remote or should it pick it up automatically.

I'm normally switched on with these things, but not on this ocassion

which 37" do you have? the JT E1 or E2 or do you have YT E1 or E2

JT is gloss
YT is matte
E1 and E2 are the number of hdmi ports.

There should be two ports one white and one red - check page 8 of the manual.
