On two separate dates I have switched this TV and it shows a blurry, out of focus picture, including the TV´s graphic menus ,such as volume, on all sources.

First time it was after we were away for five days. Second time, two weeks later, Saturday morning and it had been on on Friday evening.

After switching on and off a few times, it recovers focus.

Anyone else? Is this a deguassing event? Shall I call an engineer?

Its nothing to do with degaussing, it suggests a High Voltage problem, but could be in a number of areas. Service engineer time me thinks.

    Thank you HowieC

I phoned JL but, as I would incour a call out fee if nothing was wrong, I decided to wait another week. Meanwhile i moved the connection to another socket.
