what size would be an important factor, you can get a techwood hdtv 32" for £350 or a sammy 26" hdtv for £400, i know which i'd choose, quality over screen size

LG's are known for not being very good.
go to the LCD section. they can help you out better there.
there isnt a special 360 TV you know...

I just got a 26" Bush from Argos for £299. It's got HDMI, component and VGA. PQ is good. Sound is OK - probably good enough for a small room.

"LG's are known for not being very good"

Where on earth did you get that idea from. LG make panels not just for themselves but many other big companies.

That's funny, I have had a 32LC2D in the main room since September, and it's so good I recently purchased a 42LC2D for my bedroom. Both have bright, vivid picture quality (even via VGA), have no motion blur, incredible contrast, a wealth of inputs, and they also actually support PC res's via HDMI (points at Samsung :nono: ). Also you do realise LG make screens for other companies to use?
