Anyone here have the realy BIG 360 remote, not the little free one :)

IF SO... can you confirm if its any good when remoting other devices such as set to boxes (Sky etc) and speaker systems? Also the TV its-self of course ;)

If its crap I will just get a one-Remote thingy rather than get that.

    Cheers :)

Remember it will only control the Xbox and a TV. It will not also control Sky or Freeview etc.

I wouldn't recommend this remote as a replacement for an all in 1 remote.

    WHAT!

I read that it could be used as a 1-remote for all devices, what a jip!

    Its a universal remote.

Best thing to do is get one from shop if it dont do what you want take it back.

It only works the TV and 360, for sure.

It doesn't even work the TV very well in my experience, the input button doesn't do anything which renders it pretty useless.

    The Backlight is useful though

You cant take it back just because you dont like it. It has to be broken.

I'm as confused as ever now

Has anyone got anything good to say about it?

I've got one and never use it. It will only control the XBOX and a TV. The TV control is really basic (i.e. no AV channel control etc.).

The remote probably works fine if you are just using an XBOX with the Media Centre Extender to watch TV. But if you want to use it with Sky/Freeview it will not work.

If you want to get an all for one remote I would not recommend this..

Is anyone using an all in 1 remote for the 360, tv etc? We're up to 4 remotes now for the tv, 360, sky+ and surround sound system and my missus is complaining about the number of remotes. Does anyone know if there's a remote which we could get to control all 4?

    Thanks

Picked up one today for £9.99 in Woolworths. Took it to the till and it came up as £19.99. I pointed out that the display said £9.99 (which it did) and they let me have it for £9.99  .

Remote does seem pretty basic TV + Xbox + media centre, but at least it lights up!

Get yourself over to the remote control forum. Lots of info there on universal remotes. I myself have a phillips pronto touch screen remote, I love it. I recently bought a logitech harmony but hated everything about it, especially build quality.

Logitech Harmonys seem to be highly thought of. look in the remote control board here for more detail.
