As a wise man once said... "oh baby"
I am really looking forward to seeing it, but i mostly hate going to the cinema so might have to wait for the dvd
don't be ridiculous! Go and see it.... preferably on opening night.
I hardly ever venture out to the cinema either Geezer. Last film I saw in the cinema was Behind Enemy Lines.
Will be popping out for this one though but only to a cinema that has on-site parking
Yeah i think this ones going to be a bit too special to miss.
Sorry to disappoint you all but it does not come out here until the 23rd May
So that will be 44 days and counting and I for one can not wait
Might have to book the Monday after it opens off work then. Trouble is it's been so long comming, been so over hyped and has so much to live up to it feels like a let down already.
Dont you like the crowds Squirrel?
If so you will have to have a priv day and go and see it one afternoon on the third week, maybe.
i hate the matrix and i`ll be demanded if im going to see the sequel lmao am i alone,am i the only one who has the berrys to say the matrix wasnt that good lmao.or am i just the only one not to like it lmao
I don't like it either. Think it's a pretty naff film.
Hooray, That's my birthday. Looks like I'll be taking the day off then.
Well the trailer looks cooooool anyway, unlike the trailer for T3.
Haven't been to the cinema for yonks (110" screen & 6.1 at home you see ), but I'll be making an exception in this case.
Roll on May I say
I've read somewhere (if its here, Sorry! ) that the Matrix had around 400 special effects in it.
The latest movie has nearly 3000 special effects in it, apparently................Don't that make you worry that its gonna be a funky ride....but 24hrs later you'll think it was utter crap
Wonder if the new look bbfc will censor it as its probably gonna be a 15 cert Warners won't want 18 and might pre-cut it for the UK in advance
It's not the crowds Garrett, just usually can't be bothered to go through the hoo-ha of finding a cinema that's showing the movie I wanna watch, then making sure I arrive on time, blah blah. Plus the prices they charge these days, I'd rather wait for the DVD.
This one is special though (and the next one). I really can't wait, though I may have to wait a few days longer than everyone else because I hate booking in advance and I get a feeling I might not be able to just "show up"
Makes you sound like a hugely reliable person there Squirrel
my two cents - couldn't really care less - its got mr reeves in it ha ha (i think the matrix is one of the most over rated films of the last ten years. all style and vetry very little substance.
Flame suit well and truly on!!!!
Anyone who doesn't like The Matrix, does not have a view worth listening to on any matter at all. So there!
On a serious note Gary, if you honestly think it has no substance, you should check out the various learned articles that have been written on the philosophy of it at: http://whatisthematrix.warnerbros.com/rl_cmp/new_phil_frames.html. You may be surprised! There are certainly some well-known academic authors there like Kevin Warwick, the Dreyfus brothers, and John Partridge! Fascinating stuff
i shared a house with a guy once who thought that the matrix was a cypher for how to live one's life ("knowing the path and walking the path") he drove me mad with it. my only defense was to hate the film.
Well I'm not surprised you hate it then. He sounds a right oddball
he used to watch it twice a day everyday!!! i'm just glad i dont house share anymore - i see him at work everyday and he is almost oscillating with excitment about the new films.
I've just seen the trailer and even with my sceptical eyes it looks the dogs hair bits!!!
just hope my mate will shut long enough to allow me to enjoy it (see above)
maybe he will leave the country and start a new religion based on the film!!!
