Well, I tried posting this in the general WLT66 thread but it was loudly ignored so I'll try it another way ... :)

I've just got a 32WLT66 (£733 delivered from Digital direct ... Very good service in case anyone's looking for a vendor

    My problem is this...
With the display showing Analog TV Both scarts output Digital TV.

    Question is...

How do I make it output what is on the screen?
Is it normal behaviour for the model?

    OMG that's 2 questions !!

    Any help or advice appreciated

    PT
    (I hate Scarts ...
Only the French could have invented the Scart ...:(
    Oh ... They did !! )

Is there nothing in the menu's to select an output for the analogue.?

edited in......Just had a look at the manual and in the AV connection menu you should be able to change the connections for your Scarts.

OR connect your aerial to your recording device first.

Ah! ... Looks like you're right ! The manual helpfully leaves the user to work that out for themselves by hinting at it under "input signal selection"....

    I'll give it a go ... Thanks.

Problem 1 is that my users (AKA "family") are not very techno-competent and I want to be able to issue a simple set of instructions for VCR recording.
"It records what you see on the screen if you use the VCR scart as the source" would have been good.

Problem 2 is that I have 2 UHF sources :
    1) Aerial with standard terrestrial DTV and ATV.
    2) NTL decoder box (no scart) with Sky etc plus standard ATV.

So I have the Aerial routed to the WLT66 and the NTL routed to the VCR.

Looks like I've got some education to do cos whenever they don't record what they're expecting then morale suffers and it seems to be my fault for some reason  .
