    Hello.
We have had out Philips 32PW9525 for just under 2 years. Last night while watching TV the box made a weird ZZZ sound (electrical shorting sound) and now we have thin horizontal red lines about 2 inches apart from top to bottom. Has anyone else had this or maybe know what the problem is?.

Philips have said they will replace the tube but we have to foot the bill for an inspection + labour, which I think is a bit OTT seeing as it's only just 2 years old.

    Thanks

    Steve

See my reply to the yellow/green query. So thats two people I've found with this problem. I'll keep hunting for more.

I think the red line issue is an indicator that the tube has 'gone', they did have manufacturing difficulties a few years ago (as I do remember a lot of reported issues then) I would take Philips up on their offer if you can as the tube is very expensive to replace.
