    Hi,
Sorry if this is a bit of a dumb question, but with regard to the Digital Audio Out of the 32PF9830, am I right in thinking that this is linked to whatever is on screen? What I want to do is make use of the component connections between my 9830 and Pioneer 530H-S. This means taking the optical audio from the Pioneer to the one of the digital audio in sockets (via an optical>co-ax converter). I'm then hoping that this will 'loop through' to the Digital Audio out socket so I can connect to my amp for 5.1. I know I could connect the audio from the Pioneer direct to the amp, bypassing the TV, but I dont use the amp for everyday 'normal' viewing.
Hope I've explained everything properly. Any views on wether or not this will work?
    Cheers,
