I brought a 32PD3000 plasma around 2 years ago now and after about 15months it had trouble when you switch it on.

The external tuner box just keep on clicking and you have to unplug the power for 30mins and try again.

This problem is getting worse by the week.

Does anyone have the same problems?

I looked for a new external tuner but these are around 500 pounds.

I was also thinking of using the DVI output on my PC and a TV card. This does no seem to power up the screen either. The screen stays in standby mode.

Please help as i cannot afford a new Plasma every two years.

    Thanks

    Justin Williams :lease:

I had the same fault on my 42pd3000. Hitatchi came and took the panel away (stil in one year warranty) and left the tuner box. Got a new panel a few days later.
The repair man said the panel had failed not the tuner box. The clicking was the tuner box trying to get a return signal from the panel apparently.......
