32LX2R - Xbox360 Official vs Joytech Component @ 720p

Hi,

Just wanted to post that I had the Joytech cable for around 6 weeks and sort of got used to ghosting on the dashboard @ 720p and in game menus etc.

I took the plunge and bought the official cable and am pleased to report all ghosting gone.

I know others have had mixed results, but just thought I would let you know my results.

BTW: My setting on the TV is Standard

I have my hd lcd on order so run my 360 thru a normal crt at present so please excuse this potentially silly question.
why are you running it at 720p ? doesnt the 360 run at 1080p ?

No mate the Xbox 360 currently supports 480p, 720p and 1080i (perhaps in time they may well start supporting 1080P, but for the meantime 1080i is the limit)
