A friend of mine is looking to by a 32inch Widescreen TV with a budget of £500-£900.

He has looked a round a few stores and quite liked a couple of the Thompson TV's.

    His questions are:-

    1. Are the Thompson Tv's any good?, we've never met anyone who's owned any Thompson TV's.

    2. Is the extra cost of a 100htz TV worth it over a 50htz one?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly welcome.
He likes the Sony, Philips & Toshiba TV's a lot but is wondering what to get & wether they are worth the extra cost over something like a Thompson TV.

    Thanks for any help/advice
    Glenn.

Don't know anything about Thomson but I own a Sony 32' fx66 and it is great you can pick them up for around the nine hundred mark.........as for 100hz once you watch one on a regular basis you will not go back to 50hz the difference is amazing.

Hope this helps a bit ...try searching on this forum as there is tons of info on all types of set:smashin:
