    Hi Chaps,

My first post so be gentle (and helpful) with me!

OK, need a new TV for the lounge. I require it to do the following:

Be able to take a NTSC signal of a Jap gamecube (I'm guessing most will)

Sound good, my old Phillips sounded very respepectable (for a TV obviously).

Not even worried about 100HZ, just want a respectable picture.

Two I've been looking at are the JVC HV-32P37D and the HV-32D4O.

Really open to suggetion on this though.

    Cheers,
    Martin

    Hello Martin,

I'm fairly new on this forum myself - infact you're my first reply - here's my pennys worth...

Have you consider the Toshiba 32ZP48P? I won't rant on about it as this forum is full of view/information on this TV - just do a search! I had a hard time choosing between LCD and CRT and in the end went for the 32ZP48P (mostly thanks to this forum!).

In a nutshell, it looks stunning... picture from DVD is stunning... and the sound is awesome as well. Not quite as good as having a seperate Surround System but the best you'll find on any TV. Throughly recommended!

    Best Regards,

    Sanjeev

Thanks guys, both those look the bizz. I believe the first is the one many entuse about, magazines and punters alike.

Both also look great too, the girlfriend didn't like the D40 'cos of the black frame!

if i had not bought a ZT, and wanted a IDTV, i'd have probably tried and stretched to the 32ZP48. :smashin:
