32 Samsung TV not detecting the Antenna

I have a oldish 32 Samsung TV, LE32R73BD it has always been connected to the HDMI socket via Sky box , but have moved it to another room and there is only a TV socket in there, but it is not seeing the DTV connector, the cable feed is ok, have tested on leades that feed my Freeview to my lounge TV .
could there be a problem on the board ?.

You have a Samsung TV not a Toshiba.
Going from memory on that model there is a separate DTV tuning menu button on the remote which lets you into the Freeview setup.
I suspect you’re in the Analogue tuning menu.
You should be able to find the user manual easily with a Google search.
If you are tuning it correctly and still no joy you need to take the TV to a known working aerial outlet or try another TV at the outlet you’ve connected the Samsung to.

Thanks for your reply, yes I keep making that mistake don't know why, anyway thank you so much there was indeed seperate tuning for the DTV ( Why ) , I would never of got it, says nothing in the user manual about that, now have all the freeveiw channels, you are a star.
