    Please help,

    I've bought the lg 32 7000 and i'm trying to connect the lcd to my hi fi so i can play the audio through that instead of the basic speakers with the tv. Is there any way i can do it?

    I have the white and red connectors on the back of the stereo but can't seem to manage to get the audio to run through it as there doesn't seem to be any audio out sockets.

    cheers

    LG7000 has only digital output (Toslink connector). You wil need one converter to convert optical signal (Toslink) to coaxial (S/PDIF) and the second converter (DAC-digital to analog converter) to convetr S/PDIF to analog (CINCH left+right).
    If you don't have optical input on the amp, this would be the only solution.
    Check the stores - I've seen a lot Optical-to-Coaxial converters and DAC's. It would be nice to have both converters in one housing; I haven't seen it yet (I actualy never look) but you might get lucky.
    If you are a DIY person I might have some simple schematics.
    Regards;

    Nice one cheers for the above. I'll have a look at getting the converters and see how I get on.

    Cheers for the help
