32" LCD TV recommendation

I wonder if you can help me. I am disabled and house bound and am after a new TV but as I am disabled and cannot get out I am not sure which is the best TV for me. I wondered if I told you the specification I wanted if you could recommend which make/model TV you think would be best for me.

I am after a HD ready LCD TV between 32-37" with the following specification:-

  • Wide screen.
  • Resolution as high as possible.
  • 2 RGB enabled scarts (min) - I don't mind having more than 2 scart connectors as long as 2 are RGB enabled.
  • 2 HDMI connections - I want 2 so that I am future proofing it to enable me to plug in more than 1 HD source.
  • Analogue & digital tuner (all Freeview channels).
  • Progressive scan.
  • HDMI must support Content protection (HDCP).
  • Price up to £1200 approximately.
I like the Sony make but they only have 1 HDMI connector and this is putting me off slightly.
What LCD TV would you recommend that would meet my specification above?
Is there anywhere particular that you know of that do good deals?

I hope you can help me.

hi hinders,

The award winning KDL-32V2000, which I assume is the Sony you were looking at, has a new version just come out the KDL-32V2500. It is available online within your budget & the only major upgrade is an extra HDMI.
If you are taken with SOny then this may be the one for you?
