Have just accidentally stumbled across this website, link below:-

    http://www.etec-solutions.co.uk/store/prodView.asp?idProduct=1802&idCategory=573

The make is NEOVIA (no I've never heard of them either) they have there own website, this model is listed as new, so apart from 32" panel size there are no specs, etec does say that it has DVI input, interesting though if this will be a price trend in 2005.

If you look carefully, the standard image says 32" and the model number corresponds to the Manufaturers Website model, also it says in the specs that a Hard Disk Drive is integrated in the set for Time Shifting Recording, surely an error?

There're several places advertising Neovias LCD screens and DABS have the Plasma listed with none in stock but it's impossible to pin down the spec. For instance the Neovia site says the LCD has got DVI but the Connection diagrams I found indicate a VGA D-sub connector only. Also they don't specify the speed of the panel but I assume it's an LG from the Neovia website as the CEO was connected with LG in France.

The Etec description appears to be a cut and paste but without the blobs indicating what options the LCD actually has. The Neovia site has a downloadable spec list, if it's accurate?

Rung Etec and they confirmed this is a 32" and will be available 1st week in December, funny enough though they still wanted my number, so they could definately confirm the details.

they are better known in the uk and continental europe under the dm tech (dm technologies) name. in the france you often see neovia. their speciality is integrating dvd players or hard diks vcrs in their sets. their picture quality is quite poor (the picture improvement filters, electronics) which you notice with analogue pictures. the 26 inch set pictured in the link has a 1366x768 resolution (sharp panel), but no dvi.
