I'm after a 32" LCD or LED to go in the bedroom so nothing too fancy but I'm also wanting to use it as a PC monitor too.
Would a budget of £300 get me anything decent?

Samung 32" F5000 as reviewed on * is under your budget and would suit your needs, you just need to rename an input to pc when using one to make sure you will achieve rgb 4:4:4 like a pc monitor for a crisp picture, you can use the cinema preset for other usages. If you fancy paying a bit more then the sony W6 32" one is a great tv and it is more a mid range one with great upscaling etc but you may not need all these things for more casual use.
    Regards
