30 cars by text message? What text messages!! **SPOILER ALERT**

Right, I have completed the main story and I've done Brucies Cars, L J's packaged deliveries and I'm currently going through the Assassin side missions. But to be honest I can't say I have had one text message from Stevie about any kind of delivery. What the hell is going on here, how do you activate these side missions. I can't even find him on the map.

Is it too late to do these missions because I have not done one, never mind 30.

I got a text message from Brucie after completing his missions, he told me he would get Steve to contact me (he did very soon after)

Once I had completed the story I went back to the text messages and found the text from Steve, I noticed that Steve's messages could not be deleted until the car had been stolen and delivered to his garage.

It might be worth double checking that all of Brucies cars were delivered.

That's about what happened for me too; did all of Brucie's missions, including the race using Steve's car, then he sent a text and shortly after (a couple of story missions?) i got a text saying to nick a Faggio scooter in Chinatown.

The only other thing i can think is maybe you need Brucie's friendship rating at a certain level? Can you use him to call up his helicopter? And have you used him once to do so? But the 30 text car-steals do exist, it's just the unlock criteria...

i just got a text message from stevie with the details for the first vehicle to steal. It's hard work finding them though - unless you use a little help
I'm sure you'd be able to do this after the main game. I do find that some messages just dissapear though.

iirc its either just as you do the cars for brucie via email or just after you have done the race where brucie borrows stevies comet. you receive stevies messages as you say by text so go through your inbox on ya phone. and they do dissapear after you collected them.

I can't call him for a chopper yet as his likeness rating is about 65% which is mainly due to him keep calling me up to go to a strip club etc..everytime I'm currently doing a mission, so it keeps going down. I need to get his and Packie's rating up to unlock the 2 achievements for Dial-a-bomb and the one for the special ability of helicopter.

I have one text from Stevie that I have just seen on the mobile which is basically just a message saying he wants a car nickin' which is in a certain area of LC

So I've got to find this car going on just the picture and the area. Shouldn't take too long then, only a couple of hours!!

The trick is to accept brucie`s request for a night out then straight after ring him back and cancel. That way you dont get bad rep for it

Thought it was a bit annoying especially when your on a mission you would of thought the game would be programmed for them not to call while ur on a mission!

Didn't know you could do that without getting the rating down, I'll give it a try. As for Stevie's cars, I've just done one that I found in the messages which was for a car in Alderney which was parked in a little alley. I took it to the garage in Boham so I have done one. I think I may of deleted all the other messages from Stevie by mistake as I can only find one from him in the messages I think it's a case of game over unless I can find the other 29 by accident. Is he gonna send me a text message for any others or is it too late now because I'm pretty sure the one delivery I just did was actually the last one.

Once you have delivered a car, it takes a few game hours before he sends you a message for the next car.

Try going to a safe house and saving as this jumps the game ahead 6 hours doesnt it! fingers crossed when you wake up you will get a text

Do it and you`ll see that after cancelling the icon showing a thumbs down doesn`t appear, which does happen if you turn him down when he rings or if you just dont turn up. It is a very usefull tip to stop the like/respect percentages going down when you`re busy doing missions.

I have a similar problem. I found the 1st car, but when i entered it, it said 'you have found steves car' but i didn't know where to take it, nothing appeared on the map. Any help?

Look at Pooon's map up there - it tells you exactly where the garage is. It also appears as an icon on your map while you're in the car.

That map has helped no end! I got the first car but didnt know where to take it. Nothing came up on the map. I drove around for ages. In the end i crashed the car and got shot by some coppers! LMAO!! But now i can get one step closer to the 100% club!

It shows on the map as GARAGE but no blip. It's on the top right hand island - I normally set a waypoint to it. It's just over the end of the toll bridge.

I have the guide which shows you exactly where the cars are but I always try and find them myself first - I only used the book for 1 so far. The text normally tells you the area which you can pinpoint on the map and then use the picture to narrow your search

just to add (the obvious really) if your still chasing the half a million dollars achievement, make sure you visit a spray and pay, if you bump the car. some of the cars are worth 30K+
