hi there, my motherboard has 2 sata connections (as well as 2 sata raid 0/1 connections that I'm not using).

I have just bought myself another sata hard drive so that makes 3 drives and 2 connetions. Do I have to buy some type of add-on pci card so that i can run my sata cable from that to my hd?

If so, does anyone have suggestions for a cheap sata pci card?

Is there away of making my 2 spare raid sata connections into plain old sata connections? my motherboard is an asus
    4800 ai one from memory.

    thanks

    CaM

not sure about your MB, but if you need a cheap sata pci card, maplin do one for £20-30, works fine.
