Before i go splashing out more money on the home cinema (when does it stop!?) I really need to know if what i want to do is possible. Currently, my HTPC outputs 2048x1152interlaced into my projector, and my TV is connected via composite to the TV-Out (quality is not of concern on the tv right now) Basically, i'm looking to buy a cheap DVI flat panel (15 or 17") and plug that into the 2nd output (DVI) of my Radeon 9000. The trick begins as i want to run a standard windows resolution on the flat panel (probably 1024x768 or similar) but keep my interlaced resolution for my projector. I then ALSO want the TV to clone the resolution on the DVI output, rather than the VGA output, as currently, the desktop scrolls all over the place, i'd rather it just stayed put. Overlay would need to work on only the TV output and VGA out, and dScaler would only be running on the VGA out, but i don't know if there are any problems there or not, due to wanting the TV out to clone the DVI out and not the VGA out. If anyone currently has a Radeon, and has this kind of setup working, i'd really like to know!
