Im considering buying another Qe100 to twin with my exsiting 1 to give a more even bass disspersal around the room.

Now i was more then happy with the Rel intil a vist to Uncle Eric's not so long ago and now feel that the bass could be a little deeper.

So would adding another one of these very fine subs give me that gut wrenching deepness or would 1 CHT 15 add more bass

I know a few peps here have run Twin subs and that have changed to larger subs..so would be greatful of a few thoughts

Also how much higher is a the cht then qe100...as the space for the sub is comprimised by my wall hanging dvd cabinets....althought i could raise them it would be a pain(small 1 tho)

Im after a hi WAF here as she's not 100% keen on the rel to start with....

I've had a few comments thru PM but i would just like to throw this open to a few more ears

    Thanks guys

It's probably worth noting that it was not until Uncle Eric himself encountered the Velodyne HGS15/18 (not the CHT15) that he decided to replace his pair of REL Q100E's.

When I went from 1 PS1000 sub to a pair I didn't really get any benefit except for higher output without distortion. A single B&W ASW675 easily outperformed the twin PS1000s in every dept except for maybe output but I'm talking about seriously high levels of about 110Db here. In answer to your question, a CHT 15 which is Servo controlled will indeed be a better option than twin QE100s IMO, if music and high volume is your priority then I wouldn't like to say.

P.S - Would you be the same Respektamonkeeee from the OCUK forums :)

Yup, when I think how much I spent on that game it makes me wanna barf, with AV a good purchase can last years, with PCs a good purchase is out of touch within 3 months

    Live and learn

imho a single CHT-15 will be far superior (in terms of depth) than 2 x REL Q100s. But then I struggled to get 2 Storms to integrate well, I was actually better off with 1.
