    ONE MONITOR LEFT

I have for sale two LG IPS234V-PN 23" monitors. I bought these in December 2012 from Amazon to create a triple monitor setup (I am keeping the third). To be honest they have hardly been used. Perhaps 20 hours each. My computer just doesn't have the power to drive the huge resolution for triple screen.

Both will come with all original packaging and box contents. They will both also come with unused table stands.

As you can see from the photo they are mounted on my own DIY triple monitor stand. I am also selling this as it will no longer be needed. The triple monitor stand is built from steel and can hold 3x 23" monitors. The VESA blocks are made from wood. It is a little rough around the edges but does the job of holding three monitors perfectly.

I am looking for £100 per monitor and £60 for the triple monitor stand. This includes delivery. I accept PPG and bank transfer.

If you have any queries please ask and I'll get right back to you.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Yes it's still available. It will definitely take the weight. The vesa blocks also have room to move left and right to allow for thicker bezels. Due to the stand being a DIY creation it was purpose made for the LG monitors. The wooden vesa blocks are drilled for vesa 75 x 75mm holes.

If your monitor has different sized vesa mounting holes then you will need to make new vesa blocks. This is very simple though. Just cut some squares out of MDF and drill 4 holes to the correct measurements.

If you have any other questions please ask and I'll get right back to you.

Easiest way to check is to look up your monitors specs on the dell website.

    No problem.

I think I will withdraw the monitor stand from sale due to it's DIY nature. It was tailor made for my monitors and isn't really suitable for other ones unless like me you don't mind a bit of DIY.

What would be your best price on everything including the stand and delivery. Won't say either way whether or not I will be looking to buy just yet as I will have to wait and see what sort of money I have in my account when I get paid for a PC I'm building for a mate.

If you bought the two monitors I could offer them to you for £190 delivered. If you wanted the stand plus the two monitors I could do it for £240 delivered.

I have to make it clear that the stand is very DIY. It will come dismantled and need to be reassembled. It will probably need to be repainted as well because some of the paint will probably come off when I remove the bolts.

If you are OK with that then I will say that when it is fully assembled it looks pretty good and is quite easy to get monitors aligned accurately. It also has felt on the bottom so can be slid across the desk easily if you need to re-position it.

If you have any more questions please ask.

Thank you for getting back to me. I will keep that in mind as I am just trying to budget everything for the next month or so. Really tempted to upgrade the rig but at the same time I have to be sensible and spend on essentials (Car stuff)

It is yes unless you bought both monitors at the same time which would be £190 delivered. I will however be able to post very quickly. If you bought it today you will have it by Wednesday.

I will try and convince you more by telling you that they are excellent quality monitors. I had both a Dell U2311H and a Dell U2312HM before these monitors and can say that the LG is on par with them for colour and image reproduction. In fact the LG is better than the U2311H in both backlight uniformity and also connectivity having HDMI where the U2311H did not.

I should also mention that both monitors have no dead or stuck pixels.

    I hope this helps.

They were purchased from Amazon on the 10th of December 2012. They come with a 3 year manufacturer warranty so they are covered until 10th December 2015.

If you ever have a problem during the warranty period I would be happy to help you sort it out.

I'll offer £80 (paid by BT) delivered for the remaining one. Sorry, but that's all my son's got in the budget after buying a new gaming desktop from dinopc.com.

That is the only thing putting me off buying one, no offence but i would rather just deal with the company direct if i had any problems, is there no way that the warranty can be transferred over to me so if i had any problems i could contact the company direct?.

I can email you my proof of purchase from Amazon if you buy it. LG state they need the serial number and also proof of purchase if you want to make a warranty claim.
