Hey guys, as some of you will know last year I built these dual 18s for my home cinema room and have been blown away ever since. They hit around 120db at 18hz tuned and are great for films and hit hard for music. Nothing at this price on the market compares, like it's not even close. Add an inuke 6000 and you've got a system for under 1000 that destroys everything near its price point, ie probably 4+ monolith would be needed to try to keep up. Dimensions are 78hx54wx58d. Weight is very heavy so the drivers would probably be taken out before moving, and it's a 2 man job! Reason for selling is I'm bored and looking to build something else. Any questions please ask!

    Ever travel East Anglia way?

Did you fancy a part exchange on an 18" Dayton HO Sub + 1000w BK Amp?. Even if not, Im potentially still interested, just looking at the best way of getting these my way.

Sorry mate never up there, that's the main issue with these the size, potentially could fit in a car with folding backseats. Just interested in a straight sale as want to upgrade to even bigger subs. Would you be interested in the inuke as well? Cheers

no thank you would just be the subs/cabs if we could find a way to go through with it. I'm pretty sure they would fit in my car as all the seats physically can be removed but its a long drive

What are the options for a courier running them to me as they are, but with the drivers protected in some way?

If I can find someone on shiply willing to do the job?

Courier could potentially be an option, I could remove the drivers and put them in their original boxes, and the cans separate too. Very heavy so would be expensive, if you can find the right one I'd be willing to go through with it!

Oh mate, believe me I know that feeling, I have been itching for a new build too. Just ordered some Volts 6's v2 for front high presence speakers so will be building them hopefully next week :)

I am also itching to build multiple subwoofers but I mean there is only so much I can fit in my room lol :)

Oh almost forgot to say, sold my inuke 6000dsp and bought the black version NX.. I have only had it for a few days and it's performing beautifully and barely gets warm running my 18" sub and buttkicker.. definitely recommend.. Also looks so much better than the old version.. oh I also had to obviously do the fan mod as the noise is still unbearable on the original fans.. now with the noctua it's literally silent!

Yeah I've been looking at the new NX series too, looks much better, shame they didn't sort out the fan issue right from factory, that's a major downside imo to the inuke!

Yes indeed, I agree however its an easy fix which can easily be done. To be fair these are generally made to be used in busy clubs and loud locations hence why they probably don't care about the fan noise..

Well, it means an 8 hour return trip for me which is a bit much, as much as I would like them and to get a shiply quote I would need weights/dimensions of each package please if that's something you can provide or know of?

Each box for the drivers weighs 14kg and measure 50x50x25cm. Each sub cab weighs approx 70kg and measures 80x54x58cm! Alternatively with the drivers still in the cabs would just be the cab dimensions but each would weigh 84kg not 70! I could put cardboard over the drivers to protect them during travel?

Just put the dimensions and weights of the boxes with the drivers still in and got a quote of £80.

Hi I'm interested in the two subs, I'm based in York and have a van so pick up no problem.

Could I ask a few questions?

I need them to fit into a space under my main left /right speakers.

How is the driver fixed into the box? Is it surface mounted onto the baffle or is it set into the baffle?

I only have 600 mm depth so how much does the driver move? Also where is the speakon connecter?

    Thanka

The drivers are recessed so sit about 5mm into the front baffles, the drivers have an xmax around 13mm so move 13mm forward, however this is only at very high volumes. Depth is just under 600mm at 580mm, the speakon connectors are on the sides, so they can sit flush to the wall! I've added a few pics for you too!

Unfortunately not, I've already planned for some 21's, you could possibly use the ultimax in a smaller box to smooth out response in room? How big is your room?

The current boxes are right at the end of the thread, I had these in bigger boxes to start with, my room is 2.5x6m so pretty much same size and these give tremendous output. What are you going to be powering with them with? The drivers take pretty much all the inuke has to give.

Hi thanks, I'll withdraw my interest and pursue my dayton ultimax build. Just measured my depth again and 600 mm depth is pushing it a little. I will build 2 with a depth of 550mm and a little wider and higher than yours but less depth.
    Good luck with the sale
