Hi

I have sky hd to my main hd tv in the lounge.I have a smaller HD tv in the kitchen that is fed from the sky hd box through the coax with a magic eye for control, however the picture is terrible so I need to find a way to get a second hdmi connection to the second tv,there is only one hdmi slot in the sky hd box

can i buy a long hdmi lead and a splitter and share the signal,or what can i do? i've heard you can but can only watch one at a time??

many Thanks in advance

stewart

I use a neet 1 in 2 out hdmi splitter and a long hdmi lead to feed the tv upstairs from the sky+HD downstairs.

This works perfectly.

So either/both TV can be on and view the sky+HD box and as using a coax and magic eye can control the Sky+HD as well.

OK Stewart, HDMI splitters are notoriously unreliable, especially with Sky machines, and long HDMI cables are hard to get, but digigriffin has been lucky with his setup so you'd better give it a try yourself!

I took your advice and ordered the neet 2-1 and a 15m hdmi both from amazon

Fingers crossed x

Thanks for the quick response

And you were quick to act.

Parts came today from Amazon super quick. Clap clap

Fitted and works extremely well, both 50" and 22" 1080i HD on at same time.

Happy xmas to all and thanks

Everything's quick where you're involved - ordered - delivered - fixed - success.
