    hi.

    i curently have a sky hd box conected to a 508xd in the bedroom.

    now would like to put a 2nd hd box in the front room to replace the SKY+ box

    i was wondering will sky charge me a extra £10 for the extra box. i curently pay

    subs = £43 + £10 for mulit room + £10 for HD = £63

    will that remain the same or will ir become

    subs = £43 = £10 for multi room + £10 for hd + £10 for HD = £73

    thanks

    I would hope not mate :thumbsdow

    Surely one HD subscription would be all you need, but i suppose you never know with SKY :mad:

    I was thinking of doing something similar when I get sky installed in my new house.

    When I used their configure your package tool they charged £63 for the monthly rental but you have to buy two HD boxes and that simply was too much for me. I think I am going to be just going with sky HD in the main room and then a plus box for the second screen.

    I am afraid it is this one... :thumbsdow

    I refuse to subscribe to HD on the 2nd box for this reason. If you pay for multiroom, why do you have to pay a 2nd HD sub.

    They could justify it (barely) when they claimed it was to subsidise the box, but given you can pick them up anywhere without a Sky contract, that can't be the justification any longer - though they still say it is...
