Ok, i am thinking about buying a 2nd hand digibox off someone, but i just read in a mag that some channels will not work when the card is not matched up with the box.

Do i only have to ring sky, with the new (2nd hand) box plugged in, and get them to 'match it up with the card - is it as simple as that?

    cheers

    Yes.

If the second hand box can be connected to the phone you can marry the card yourself using the boxes modem to connect to the SKY computer and authorise it.
I'm assuming it's a smartcard carrying subscription info and not just a FTV card (not sure but I think the BBC need to be contacted for that).
