Hi,

I'm building my own projector and I have a question regarding material and colour.

As far as I can make out from what I have read, in a normal to darkish room a white screen is great, a darker (grey) screen is advised for lighter rooms.

What about 2d and 3d? Lets just say I painted the wall white with delux (I'm not!) then projected my 3d on to it, would it work at all? Quality aside?

you do not need a special screen for 3d, but screen surface choice for an ambient lit room is paramount if you want to get the best out of your pj
