Hello i just joined few minuites ago cos i need some advice rather urgently.

Im a new comer to widescreen tvs and money is tight so i need some advice on what is the best sub £260 Widescreen tv 28".

    Im currently considering

    LG RI28CZ10RX - £252 in p&p

Pacific 28inch widescreen from asda for £210-220 or somit.

Now the LG has a superflat tube which i presume makes picture nicer and also has 5 preset modes for audio and visual. but has only 2 scarts and i dont think it has a svhs connector.

Pacific has basic stuff but has a 3 yr guarettee.

And i been looking about for other 28 inch WS models but i dunno really whats good and whats not.

Need advice by next tuesday cos if i dont get any help in choosing im going to get the LG model.

    So im after recommendations.

Big "W" and Sommerfield are doing Tosh's for about £230 think the model is a 2833w I could be wrong though.
I have seen the sets on display in both shops in the Birmingham area so this might be a regional thing.
Good luck, let us know what you choose.

If money is tight, then go for the LG (at least its a proper brand).

ASDA has stopped the 3yr gtee - its now only 1yr.

I saw the Tosh's at BigW the other day, infact nearly bought the 24" version. Problem is they look too much like the Bush tv's. So similar infact, I couldn't rule out that they weren't built by the same people.
