I just bought a 28" Goodmans (Matrix GTV69W3) widescreen television at Makro for £230.It looks to be a very good deal ! however, I've noticed that the pictures get quite muddy and lack contrast only on scenes that have a lot of white content ( e.g. a lot of sky ) The pictures return to normal when there are less bright elements in the picture. Has anyone else noticed this on their tv's ? shoould I take it back ??
It doesnt happen on any of my other tv's !!
I dont know whether its a fault or a feature on a budget tv ? Any ideas ?????
Has

As with all things you get what you pay for!
If you can live with it keep it.For £230 it's a bargain!

It might be worth going back to Makro and checking to see if their display model like yours is doing the same thing. If so, then basically it can be assumed that that is what one gets for £230.
I know that Goodmans caters for the budget end of the market. It's best to stick to renowned TV brands such as Sony, Philips, Panasonic, Toshiba etc. even if it means living on bread and water for a few months.
