I read somewhere that the size of the screen alters the apparent black levels and that blacks just look blacker on 26" LCD's than they do on 32" and above. Anyone care to comment?

There is a similar thread here, which was largely ignored.
My answer to this is the same: I can hardly speak from experience as I have yet to own my first LCD, but from reading reviews, forums, and checking out LCDs in shops, it would seem to me that the smaller the screen, the better the contrast and black levels. I also see this in CRTs though. At the mo, becuase my 32" CRT is dead, I am using a 14" portable  . I have noticed it has a significantly deeper, richer picture than my 32". Makes it look practically washed out. Same with LCD, but perhaps to a lesser extent methinks.
