26" LCD with 2 component input?

I'm trying to find a decent brand 26" LCD which sports dual component input, and DVI if possible, so that I can replace my ageing widescreen Sony 28" Trinitron hunk of junk... Unfortunately I don't have much space (or cash!) to fit the new TV in, but this one really does need replacing! Of course, if you can fit a 32" into that budget, I'm sure I can showhorn the screen in somehow :D

I don't need it for much, but I would like the display to be crisp; the two component inputs will be used for Xbox360 and Wii, and DVI for my pc now and then.

I don't realy have a budget, but I suppose if you can keep it under £500 it would be great. I'm getting very bored trapsing from website to website, so thought I'd ask you lot as you seem to know everything :smashin:

Thanks in advance :)

i think the Hyundai Q321 has all the above - certainly the 32inch one does (but does have a crappy digital tuner as well) - which is why i sent mine back.
Great sound quality from the sets own speakers tho and an excellent monitor.

Also check out the A321, i THINK it is basically the same but with no digital tuner and hdmi instead of dvi.

fror the latter aria sell a dvi - hdmi lead for £13 inc P&P

Thanks for the headsup on the Q321, reading the specs here certainly seems to have everything technically I need.

I'm not fussed about the Digital Tuner too much as I don't watch a huge amount of TV, but do watch lots of DVD's. Does it make much of a difference when watching regular SD inputs from a freeview box/sky box (not looking at a HD broadcast input for a long time yet) on this set?

Curiously, the A321 doesn't appear on the Hyundai tech spec site, yet it's sold on lots of sites...

I never used mine for freeview, but did watch a few dvd's on it and was very impressed with that side of it.

DO read the Q321 thread on here, as the set does have its issues, but it does tick all your boxes :)

Q321 is excellent as a PC monitor via VGA and 360 via Component..

it is, but... the 360 is even better via vga and then use the dvi for your pc needs :)

i didnt realise how good a set the hyundai was in terms of being a monitor untill i got back in the game for a different set.

Really? I'd get better image quality through VGA that Component? I thought Component was the best?

I'm pretty much sold on the set, I've read through the first few pages of this lcd's dedicated thread and I like what I'm reading. Seems the only particular faults with it are for things I wouldn't really use it for anyway.

I don't remember reading if it does 1:1 pixel mapping tho? Can someone confirm?

yes its 1:1 and yes vga is better than component on this TV (and that comes straight from the mouth of the uk hyundai rep (different tv's behave differently some prefer component others vga)

as for reading the thread, it is all v positive on the 1st hundredd or so pages.

the last 100 or so are not so positive!

i am not trying to talk you out of the set - i think it may have been me who mentioned it - but it does have very real issues. so long as you are aware then knock yourself out i didnt actually realise how good it was untill it was gone!!!
i never had lipsync issues on this telly when using as a monitor, on the 360 *probably would be hard to tell* or as a dvd player.

but i did when i used the digital tuner.

Ok, I'm definitely settled on the Hyundai, but after doing some measuring, I find it wont fit so does anyone know where the Q261 is in stock? That has everything I need too, and will fit like a charm!

PS: I have an itchy credit card, and I'm not afraid to use it...
