    Hi guys... i am new on the forum. I am planning to buy a 26 in lcd . Can anyone tell me which is the best tv on the market for wathing RF signals? Thanks in advance :)

    hi try the sharp 26 in pe50, u wont be disappointed.

    Have a look at these two for starters Sharp LC26P50E (£570) and LE26R41BDX (£650)

    The Sharp is optimised for today's TV/DVD picture and gives a better picture if you will predominantly view Standard Definition images (i.e. not High Definition).

    I don't think the Phillips is as good connectivity wise and is not future proofed for HD sources. If that's not an issue for you then ofcourse it doesn't matter. However I also think by everything I've read online and in magazines the Phillips is not as highly regarded as other TV's like the above mentioned Sharp and Samsung.

    Also have a look at the LG 26LX2R - i got one, and i love it.

    HD Ready... HDMI, DVI, Component etc...

    hi, dont get the lg i had this panel, compared to the sharp its very poor, when watching sports.

    The Sharp is a lovely looking bit of kit (got the 26GA3E myself). The remote is a bit big but is very easy to use.

    Id actually recommend trying to get a freeview box if possible with a RGB Scart connection, that will give you the best possible standard definition picture with the LCD.
