25% off QLED TVs @ Samsung Store (Discount Portal) - hotukdeals

Samsung are doing 25% off via certain discount portals which runs until the 31st October.
It's reported in the HUKD thread that this includes Student Beans and definitely includes Kent Rewards portal.

An upgrade to 5 year warranty is also available free of charge but must be added manually to the cart.

These are the prices for the 65" and 55" sets (**updated prices 21/9/19 in bold - Samsung have dropped the RRP so in turn the sale prices have dropped):

2019 65" Q90R Flagship QLED 4K £2,099.25 (down from £2799.00)
2019 65" Q85R QLED 4K £1,724.25 (down from £2299.00)
2019 65" Q80R QLED 4K £1,424.25 (down from £1899.00)
2019 65" Q70R QLED 4K £1,274.25 (down from £1699.00)
2019 65" Q60R QLED 4K £876.75 (down from £1169.00)

2019 55" Q90R Flagship QLED 4K £1574.25 (down from £2099.00)
2019 55" Q85R QLED 4K - £1274.25 (down from £1699.00)
2019 55" Q80R QLED 4K - £1011.75 (down from £1349.00)
2019 55" Q70R QLED 4K - £899.25 (down from £1199.00)
2019 55" Q60R QLED 4K - £651.75 (down from £869.00)

Good to post these if you can use a student discount.

People might still have their .ac.uk email address as an Alumni

2019 75" Q90R is under £3k with 5yr warranty.

That’s where i got my 65” Q90r
The missus has perkbox at work and it’s the same 25^•% off also you get a sound bar half price of you buy one of those too.
I paid 2249 but on Wednesday they reduced the price again so you’d pay 2100

I've updated the prices for the 65" screens. I didn't check these myself (copied from SuperNoz's post on HUKD).

If you've got access through Totum then you are welcome to check and let us know.

I've just checked from the website (hadn't heard of them before) and it only comes up with an offer for Reward Mobile if you search for Samsung.

Just picked up the 75Q90 for £2.7k, combined it with the 50% off sound bar Q90 which made that £455 after cashback, very pleased as due an upgrade.

@Rizel23 how did you get cashback as well as going through a portal (presuming you did)? The Kent Rewards portal just takes you to the store but doesn't mention any further cashback.

£600-700 is my budget for a new 55" screen ... Would this be best spent on the Q60R, as it is now in my price range?

I've read a few reviews which give it some below average performance on certain areas, but I'm not sure they are things I'll notice as a non-gaming, casual TV watcher?

I'm sure anything I buy will give a notable difference on a 7 year old 51" Samsung plasma...

Evening @secretmachines . I was going to suggest you try the AVForum from the HUKD thread but you're already here :D.

absolutely gutted, just missed out on a Q60R - now out of stock.
how does the RU8000 compare?

did an online chat with Samsung, they said it's likely to come back in stock as it's one of their most popular sets... fingers crossed!

I'm still back and forth as to buy the Q60R/Q70R for now (have no 4K tv but have an Xbox X and 4K Netflix sub) but waiting for HDMI 2.1 to become commonplace next year before getting the Xbox Project Scarlett.

Mini update. Samsung appear to have dropped some of the 55" RRP prices so the sale prices have also subsequently dropped.
I've updated the OP for the changes spotted on the 55" in bold. There are no changes on the 65" prices. I haven't checked any other prices for different sets.

The Q70R 55" has always been 1199 (899 discounted)?

2019 55" Q70R QLED 4K - £936.75 (down from £1249.00)
