Anyone know what's happening with the 'missing' episode of '24' from last Sunday?

The Snooker saw off the regular screening on BBC 2 and BBC Choice appeared to be showing the previous 2 episodes back to back.

Presumably the 'missing' episode will be shown on BBC2 this coming Sunday?

From what I hear BBC Choice crops the picture of 24 where-as BBS2 has it in wide-screen. Can anyone confirm/deny this?

    Cheers,

    Mark.

Hard to tell, when I switched to BBC Choice I turned off in disgust because of the huge "Dog" they were using, it certainly looked w/s since the Dog was well into towards the centre of the screen.
Quite happy to wait a week for the BBC2 screenings, just annoying that once again another US import is screwed around because of sport.

I must admit, the onscreen 'logo' used by BBC Choice during '24' is nothing short of ludicrous. Seriously, it must take up about 5% of the screen! If I'm not mistaken, doesn't the text also change during the show?

I can half understand the (misguided) premise of commercial satellite channels using OSLs but the BBC? I always assumed it must be for when people video record those shows and lend them to friends without digitial, like a sort of (stupid) advert or something?

I wrote to Sky about burn in (top right corner, annoying 'red dot' ghosting) and they offered to buy me a brand new, replacement television.

It would have been a great customer retention strategy though ;)
