hi guys does anyone know the difference between 24 : Series 1 (Promotion Edition) and 24 : Series 1 Box Set (6 Discs) ??

same goes for the season 2 and 3, the Promo price is making me think about getting one or two of them, i have never watched 24 before.

i dont know the difference but go buy S1 & watch now !!! then you will automatically buy S2 & S3

as you can tell im a massive fan boy and wont have a word said against it  and im proud of that :rotfl:

edit : just remembering this must be a fox thing as the simpsons boxsets had this offer. i dont think there was any difference in those though

    Hi,

is it good - is like asking 'does day follow night'.
You WILL NOT REGRET it if you buy them. Just be prepared to lose alot of sleep, as it is addictive as hell

I believe there is no difference whatsoever. Look at play.com for specs of the discs.

I have ordered series 3 today, and it is in DD5.1 etc.

i think its like the x-files series, in that they will be trying to get rid of stock knowing that diehards for these types of series will already of bought them.

    cheers

which series is the best? and should they be watched in order? (ie. do you need to have seen one series to understand the next?)

i might take a chance and get one set.

Season 4 starts on Sunday January 30th on Sky One with a 2hour special.

There is also a 10 minute prequel for season 4 on Sky One this Thursday (13th Jan) at 22.55.
