This US series if you don`t know about it is at www.fox.com/24/ It stars Kiefer Sutherland.
Looks interesting.... but what the hell is it about? Website doesn't exactly drop many clues.
Doesn't it take place within a 24 hour period with each of its 24 episodes playing out in "real time", thus at the end of the series you have a complete 24 hours in the life of Mr Sutherland?
I've heard of it but I can't remember exactly what it's about. Maybe a bodyguard or something with just 24 hours to save someone/the world/whatever.
I do remember thinking I'd like to see it.
From what I've read in many Cult Tv magazines, the show sounds interesting.
I would love to watch this, providing the BBC give it a proper, reliable, and regular time-slot, and air the series uncut! (Unlike "Seven Days" and "Roswell High"!)
Will certainly have to give the show a go, and keep my eye on the BBC schedules!
I've been watching it on VCD from the US, and it's absolutely fantastic. It's about the 24 hours of a day of the US presidential primaries, and the assassination attempt on the first black candidate with a chance of being president. That and much more. You can't miss a minute of it, otherwise you miss some crucial plot twist or clever scene. And because it's real-time, there's so much detail that goes on, you feel like you've watched more than you have. I'm 6 episodes in and there's so much it could have been a whole series already. Miss it at your peril.
I heard there was a "coming soon" promo for 24 on BBC2 the other day.
I too have been watching via d/l from the web and just like Luke said above the show is absolutely fantastic! That though was after watching up to 6am. Having just finished watching hour 12 (up to midday), I have to say this is one of the most engrossing, intense shows i have ever watched on TV!
After watching 5am-6am you'll understand why im hyping 24 up so much but its just...it never fails to deliver
Sunday - March 2nd - 10pm - BBC2
Friday - March 7th - 10:30pm - BBC Choice (repeat)
Nice and late so hopefully no cuts. But I wonder if B2 is being sneaky with this slot, as it's counterpart, C4, usually places films there? Still, no ads and dogs. Mustn't grumble.
Just another vote for the "EVERYONE MUST WATCH THIS" parade. As those annoying saturday morning people used to say, MIMO.
