24 is to be released in region 2 from Fox. It is currently scheduled for 19th August priced at £44.99, the first volume will arrive with an anamorphic transfer and Dolby Surround soundtrack.

(Don't know what they mean by 'first volume' though - for £44.99 I would expect the complete series!)

Hmmm... Blackstar don't seem to know what the running time of the collection will be. Has anyone actually explained the concept of this show to them I wonder?

    HI,

I should think that "First Volume" probably means the first 12 episodes of Season 1, with the last 12 to follow later in the year.

As for the "question" about Blackstar not knowing the concept of the show, expect someone, somewhere, to claim that the running time of the show is 24 hours - which it isn't. Technically, the show runs to approximately 1080 minutes or 18 hours!

Pooch (being pedantic, as always! :D )

Of course. The episodes are only 45 minutes long.

I just find the irony amusing.

£44.99 sounds an awful lot of dosh for twelve episodes! I bet if there is a region 1 version it will be half the price - eg Buffy & Simpsons (also both Fox titles)

Rip Off Britain!  :(
