Game are doing a full 24 hours of bargains on their website(1 offer per hour of limited stock bargains!) on 24th July!

Sounds good! It would be well annoying if you stayed up and saw a load of offers that you weren't bothered about and then they started knocking out GBA SP's for 30 quid the hour after you go to bed!

Last time they did this, they had Socom for £1 (i think that was the last 24 hour one anyway) and non of the orders ending up going through, had to pay £20 in the end. Hopefully they will have everything sorted this time around. There's going to be a hell of alot of page refreshing going on on saturday :p

No probs, i'm hoping there's a decent offer on an X-Box or a GBA SP, or failing that just some PC or PS2 games.

I just remembered this and had a look. Dunno how the prices compare, but quite like the looks of things thus far.

Disregarding the items on offer (as that's a personal thing and 'luck of the draw', should one own the item(s) already), this appears to be the best of the promotions that I've seen so far. I had expected to see each item displayed for one hour, rather than throughout the promotion - or until it's out of stock - and it seems that the 'stock numbers' are rather higher than in the past. Not bad at all :)

Now to make sure that I stay away for the next eighteen hours... :p

Yeah, forgot about this myself - just had a look now - nothing really spectacular, some decent prices on some pretty new games but nothing to grab me...yet. I think they'll probably wait until this afternoon or even tonight before unveiling the better offers.

I have just been into Game to get the Riddick demo and noticed they had Fight Night for £20 yet a pre owened version cost £30 I think it was. I queried the price they said the £20 price was only to game card holders it will end Tuesday.
I also noticed need for speed underground was about £30 when you can buy it in Woolworths for £20 brand new and at the moment the Game sale on the net is pish
The games on the 24 hour sale are 97% Playstation 2 games, so far a huge let down. I have a Playstation 2 but none of the games on offer appeal to me.
Harry Potter, Simpsons, Looney Tunes :(

I am interested in Breakdown and MOH Rising Sun on Xbox but am holding out before placing my order to save on postage if anything else appears.
Some of the Xbox games at £14.99 are already on a two for £30 promotion in store making the net promotion less impressive than it first appears. :(

yeah so far it's not the best. You would expect the PS2 content in the sale to be the biggest though, as it is by far the most widely owned console.

not the best sale - FF X-2 is ok for £12.99 and there's a few other reasonable buys but the likes of fight night 04 can be bought for £14.98 from amazon and many of the other offers can be bought for a similar if not cheaper price elsewhere.

Does anyone have a record of the deals so far since 12am (until 8am) - I would really appreciate it! Someone must know.

    Thanks
