    Hello guys.

Just looking for a couple of recomendations with a few links to each one for me to read up on. Looking for them all to be HDTV ready too, pretty much.

    So..

    23"?
    26-28"?
    32"?

Was thinking that the Samsung covers pretty much all of them, but what's out to rival it at the moment?

    Cheers
    Scott

    Irony...!
I'm sending my Tosh 27" back to get a Samsung!

Don't get the Tosh if you want to use a PC!

Panasonic LXD500 range... either the 26 or 32.

Personally have the 32" model and it's fantastic!

    HDMI input on that Panasonic?

So, Tosh isn't so hot for PCs, but no tearing, Sammy is hot with PCs but possibility of tearing.

Why shouldn't people who want to use a PC get Toshiba?

I'm running my Tosh 32WL56P at 1368x768 (VGA) and it provides ultra sharp picture. I couldn't be happier with it.

As I put in my answer, I've got the 27" version, and the resolution of that screen is 1280x720, and it refuses to accept a VGA D-sub input at that res, well, it will, but you won't want to look at the picture! I've currently got it running at 1360x768, and it's TOLERABLE, but it's going back, I want pixel mapping... At the mo, it's between the samsung and the sagem 27, but I'm probably going for the Samsung as the sagem has it's speakers either side, as opposed to under the screen.

Wouldn't have thought it's so hard would you? I want a 27" tv, preferably with built in freeview, with speakers underneath, with native 1280x720, a decent PC input (WI|THOUT OVERSCAN PLEASE TOSHIBA!) and a selection of high def inputs... If only Tosh would sort out this current model, I'd be happy...

Oh, and incidentally, it ain't pin sharp at 1368... your panel is 1366 pixels across...it might be good enough, but it can't be spot on...

Sharp GA6 or JVC DS6 across the board. No 23" Sharp and JVC's is C50 - no change for this year.
