21" TV/DVD Combo Advice Wanted

    My brother needs a TV for his University Student Digs. He has a budget of £180 and would like the best portable combo TV for the price (ideally 20/21")

    We've had a look across Pricerunner/Kelkoo etc and came across this at Amazon- Its a Funai (???) 21" TV/DVD/VCR combo for £179.99

    Here are the brief specs:

    21" pure flat TV with OSD & Teletext
    6 head HiFi stereo VCR
    DVD/DVD-R/-RW/VCD & CD-A playback
    Ability to record from DVD to VCR

    Has anyone bought this TV Combo? Amazon says they've sold 683 :) and it has a good review on the site. Anyone know much about the company?

    Can anyone recommend any other decent TV/DVD combo's for the price (VCR is not important)

    I need a smaller TV/DVD COMBO .... perhaps 14" will be fine.

    Any recommendations please??

    I dont know if you have thought about the implication of a combination TV/VCR/DVD?
    You have 3 items to go faulty, any one of them is faulty and you lose your TV!
    You can get a 21" TV for about £90-100(2 scarts)
    Quite difficult to get reviews for obsquure brands, good luck.

    I know, however its not for me.
    my sis in law wants it for her bedroom....
    That Philips one seems pretty nifty ... normally around £160 I think.
