Ok, i currently have a 20GB Hard drive, and can get my hands on a 120gb hard drive.

How can i get my game saves / paid for arcade games etc from one HDD to another?

I don't really want to have to buy something extra.

Is there a way, or am i going to loose it all?

Take a look at this thread - you should be able to sort yourself out this way. :smashin:

Oh, and arcade games are linked to your gamertag, so by recovering your gamertag to your new HDD, you should automatically be allowed to download any arcade games you've got...unless they're gone off Marketplace, that is.

The migration cable comes packaged with the hard drive, takes a while, but its a doddle.

As kavanf1 said add your name to that thread and your sorted.

I bought the 120GB drive from Hong-Kong and used the cable from that thread, worked a treat, with no probs.

i know this thread is old but... w/e

Here in the US, when you get the 120GB HDD, it comes with a cable to swap everything over from your 20GB HDD...

IS that now how it is in Europe?

retail ones do.. but if you've got yours from an elite, or from a 'knock off' seller ( its possible to mod western digital 120 gb drives to be accaptable to the 360 ), then you wouldn't have access to this.

Yeah I got mine from someone who bought an Elite and didn't want the 120Gb HDD (his loss!).

I didn't have access to such a cable but a 360 Memory Card was sufficient for getting important saves across - everything else I just re-downloaded i.e. Content and demos.
